Dr. Maria Montessori was very aware that from birth up to age 3, a child’s brain develops exponentially faster than at any other time, and thus, more learning happens during the toddler years than at any other stage of development. Unfortunately, many parents don’t seek out formal education until the child has entered the Pre-K and Kindergarten years.
We created our Toddler Program to provide enhanced education during the most formative years, and to prepare them for excellence when they are promoted into the Primary Program.
Our teacher to student ratio is 1:6 or better.
In our Montessori Toddler Program, your little one will be with loving, nurturing teaching staff who have been rigorously trained in child development — and who create a peaceful, supportive, and safe environment. At Rising Star Montessori, your child’s natural passion for wonder, curiosity, exploration, independence, and discovery will come alive in a way that you may have never thought possible.
Our experienced, Montessori Certified Lead toddler teacher and dedicated assistants are trained in the Montessori Method and are committed to supporting each child's individual growth and development.
Our comprehensive Montessori curriculum is designed to meet the specifically unique needs and interests of each child, promoting intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth. Learning independence is also crucial at this stage of toddler development.
The focus of this program is for the child to fine-tune their gross-and fine-motor skills, master self-care and toilet training, improve their social skills and language, and to fully prepare the child for the Primary environment.
In addition to the individually-tailored academic path for each toddler student, they also enjoy art, Spanish, sign language and music as part of their curriculum.
